My Little Devil
At a boarding school on the shores of the Indian Ocean, 10-year-old Joseph befriends black Sandu and is later introduced to his impoverished family. Joseph “borrows” bread from the school kitchen for his friend until he is caught redhanded. Twenty years later, Sandu offers a piece of bread to Joseph on a chance encounter.
