Winky’s Horse

Adorable Winky Wong is a little Chinese girl who recently moves to Holland with her mother to join her father who runs a restaurant there. At school, Winky learns about St Nicholas, an old man with a big beard who rides a horse on his birthday to distribute gifts to good kids. Winky loves horses and dreams about getting a real horse from St Nicholas. Despite all the good efforts she makes to be a sweet girl, her dream does not come true when the big day arrives. Heartbroken and disillusioned, she storms out of her classroom to get her bike parked at the school yard. There, attached to her red bike, is a beautiful tall white horse! Delighted, Winky manages to get on the horse and rides it home, followed by St Nicholas desperate to get his horse back!
